What comes with Icecast hosting
- Your own address, over HTTPS
- Listeners tune in at yourname.stream.fynradio.com, with SSL, so a player on a secure website is not blocked.
- Your own port and password
- A source port and password that are yours alone, not a shared server and a number to tell stations apart.
- AutoDJ included
- Upload MP3, M4A, FLAC, WAV or OGG. Playlists and a weekly schedule play whenever no DJ is on, and a DJ who connects takes over at once.
- Unmetered bandwidth
- No limit on hours streamed or gigabytes sent. Your plan sets how many can listen at once, up to 1,000.
- Statistics and recordings
- Listeners now and over 13 months, by country, a play log for royalty returns, and recordings of your live shows.
- No adverts
- You pay for it, so your listeners hear your audio and nothing of ours.
Connecting a Icecast encoder
Your dashboard shows these with a copy button beside each. The encoder setup guide has them for BUTT, Mixxx, RadioDJ, SAM Broadcaster, Rocket Broadcaster, Winamp, OBS and FYN Broadcaster.
